Consider this: In a recent U.S. News & World Report "FSBO vs. real estate agent" debate, 66% of consumers said that “agents aren’t needed to sell a home”.

A recent survey of homeowners by a major "for sale by owner" website found that 78% of consumers who plan to buy or sell a home in the next three years believe agents’ commissions are unjustified.

According to the National Association of Realtors®, in 2008, 23% of home buyers didn't use a real estate agent to make their purchase. And the percentage of buyers who found online the home they eventually purchased increased from 8% in 2001 to 32% in 2008!

Home sellers are caught between a rock and a hard place.

Many home sellers are dissatisfied with the poor results they get from their realtors.
But these same homeowners don't want to sell their homes themselves.

They think it's not worth the effort...
          ... or they don't know how
                    ... or they don't have the time
                              ... or they think a realtor is legally required to sell their house.

This is a big problem.

Many people in this country are losing their houses outright because they sit unsold. Many, many more are losing billions and billions of dollars in lost equity and high sales commissions.
